City Block – March Block of the Month

This month’s block is based off the traditional “Half Square Triangle”, but let me warn you of one thing. You can’t construct a half right isosceles triangle block the same way as a half SQUARE triangle! Geometry is fun.

Ask me how I know. Mistakes happen. That’s why we give ourselves permission to test.

That means you will be cutting your right isosceles triangles and sewing the bias edges to form the rectangular units of this block. Just be careful not to stretch the seam as you sew or press. The instructions are simple. It just sounds complicated. You can do it.
